If a student’s parent(s) or guardian(s) plan to be away, Boarding Staff must be informed. A forwarding telephone number and address should be left with the Boarding Office or an alternative emergency contact must be provided.

Valuables Boarding students are encouraged to leave valuables at home. Purses, wallets and personal belongings of value must be kept locked in bedroom closets at all times. The school will not accept responsibility for lost items if they are not stored in the Boarding Office. Visitors Day students and approved visitors are welcome to visit with students in the Boarding School. All visitors are required to sign in and out with Security in the Rotunda. Additionally, any visitor to the Boarding community must sign into the Visitor’s Book located in the Boarding School Office and with the Staff on Duty. All guests and visitors must be accompanied by their Boarding School student and visit in the approved spaces. Students may ask permission to host a guest at dinner. Students must submit their request to staff for approval at least 24 hrs in advance, when possible. Student accounts will be charged accordingly. Some circumstances may not permit a student to host a guest in the Boarding School. On such occasions, students may visit with their guests in the Rotunda and return to Boarding by curfew. Students are not permitted to visit outside of the Boarding School after curfew (for example, in the Rotunda or on the school steps). If there are concerns of any nature with guests, please contact sSecurity or the Staff on Duty. ​ Visiting hours are as follows: ●​ Monday to Thursday: 3:30 to 5 pm ●​ Friday: 3:30 to 11 pm Overnight Visitors Boarding students may request permission to have a day student friend visit for a night during the weekend, provided there is room to host the student. Visitors will not be permitted to share a bed. The number of visitors on any weekend will be limited. Permission must be obtained at least two days in advance, when possible, and will be granted at the discretion of the Boarding Team. All overnight guests must submit written permission from a parent or guardian, provide the Boarding School Office with pertinent information including health concerns, and an emergency contact name and phone number. They are also expected to abide by all Boarding policies during their stay. ●​ Saturday: 12 noon to 11 pm ●​ Sunday: 12 noon to 6 pm
