Taxi/Airline Limo Service Students are encouraged to use public transportation whenever possible. If a student requires use of a taxi or airport limousine service, chits (paper receipt used instead of cash) are available in the Boarding School Office and will be charged to the student’s account. Taxi chits are distributed at the discretion of the Boarding Staff for medical appointments, school-related appointments, family occasions and so forth. Taxi chits will not be distributed for leisure outings, unless permission is granted by a parent. Airport limos are to be booked in advance with the Boarding Staff so they can ensure the Boarding students arrive at the airport in enough time to make their flight. Ride-Shares (Uber, Lyft, Hoop and other) The use of ride-shares is allowed with the permission of a parent. Students are responsible to obtain their own accounts and method of payment.
