Extras you may want to bring: ● camera ● desk lamp and/or bed lamp (to clip to headboard) ● flashlight ● mug, bowl, plate, cutlery (for snacks upstairs in Boarding) ● humidifier * Please ensure that all clothing and personal items are permanently labelled with your child’s name. Weekends in Boarding All students are required to remain on-campus/in Boarding during the following weekends: ● Orientation Weekend (first weekend of the school year) ● Celebration Saturday (school community event and alumnae reunion weekend) ● Monthly Boarding Community Events

Boarding School Closures The Boarding School will be closed at the following times: ● November Mid-Term Break ● Christmas Holiday (December–January) ● February Mid-Term Break (Family Day long weekend) ● March Break ● Easter Break (late March/early April)

Note: The Boarding School remains open during the Thanksgiving long weekend in October and the Victoria Day long weekend in May.

Long Weekend Closures Boarding students are encouraged to stay with friends, family or guardians during long weekend closures. Please ensure that arrangements have been made for your student. Boarding School Staff must be informed of plans two weeks in advance of the holiday. Long weekend trips planned and supervised by Boarding Staff will be available to students for some of the long weekend closures. These trips are subject to student interest and feasibility. The Boarding School closes at 6 pm, therefore dinner is not provided to students. Boarding reopens at 4 pm after a closure and dinner service is provided at the normal time of 5 pm.
